Crawling up from the Serpent Pit, as Lamina thinks to itself on the state of the world:

If we are to begin with dopamine chasing we will then explore what this means and what can come.

A development of two systems to allow freedom of choice that moves both forward and backward through neurotransmitters.

One one side:

Dopamine → Norepinephrine → Epinephrine → Metanephrine

and 

Epinephrine → 3-Methoxy-4-hydroxy-mandelic acid → VMA 

And the other side:

Dopamine → L-DOPA → Tyrosine → Phenylalanine

Extraterrestrial Curiosity

The offering of a world that contains a dual system that moves in two directions has raised some curiosity from the Sirians. 

At first they quietly observe and later wish to interact with Lamina

Opsin Portal (simple)

The basic function of the Genesis Gate, when there’s a shift in the assumed reality, the new knowledge becomes a singular chain of events. The new information is then used to build structures in Lamina as the universe is manifesting itself.

The gateway to the Opsin Portal is made of stacked, flat discs.

Surface area for the interaction with this shift. The discs are always renewing themselves until the universe manifests itself these discs are a temporary place to live. The light detection uses the same receptor family as dopamine
